Recently, The Heinz Endowments made a grant of $300,000 to the Women and Girls Foundation. While $100,000 has already been released for investment in WGF, we can not receive the remaining $200,000 without your help!
As part of this grant, The Heinz Endowments has challenged WGF to raise an additional $100,000 from individual donors in the next year. As we do so, The Heinz Endowments will stand behind this challenge by matching each new dollar raised from individuals with two additional dollars.
With your help, we can raise nearly a half a million dollars for WGF.
For example, a $2,500 gift made today to WGF would result in $5,000 being released from The Heinz Endowments. Meaning your initial $2,500 gift would result in a total of $7,500 being invested in WGF. How often are you able to see that kind of return on your investment?
