Past Events
- Hosted 2008 Women In Sports with guest speaker Mary Lou Retton
- Hosted 2007 Equal Pay Day Rally to raise awareness about "Will Work For Equality" movement.
- Hosted 2006 International Women’s Funding Network Conference with opening reception at Warhol Museum. Included WFN luncheon honoring Girlcott Girls
- Hosted She Said: Poetry and Prose by Women with Special Guest Erica Jong
- Hosted event Ready to be Heard: Advocacy Training for Women
- Hosted a celebration of Women in Science at the Carnegie Science Center honoring women in our region who are engaged in innovative and dynamic careers in science.
- We brought 100 women and girls to the PA Governor’s Conference for Women in the fall of 2004. Providing a unique opportunity for girls to network with leadership women and for executives from our region to connect with their counterparts throughout the state.
- We launched "Bring Your Kids to Vote" a non-partisan campaign encouraging women to vote and to bring their children with them to the polls on November 2, 2004.
- We hosted a breakfast on President’s Day celebrating women campaign workers who worked on 2004 political campaigns and continue to encourage more women to become engaged in politics.
- We sponsored docent tours of the Carnegie International on International Women’s Day showcasing the women artists in the exhibit placing an emphasis on these spectacular artists and the need for more gender equity in the world of visual arts.
