WGF is focused on building broad-based coalitions to achieve gender equity through public policy, public action, and public dialogue.

Some examples of WGF Coalitions from 2004 - 2005 include:

Bring Your Kids to Vote a non-partisan campaign encouraging women to
bring their children with them to the polls.
International Women’s Day docent tours of women artists’ work in the Carnegie International at the Carnegie Museum of Art.
The Status of Women in SWPA Report a county-by-county analysis researched by WGF and Chatham College’s Regional Women’s Initiative.
Pennsylvanians for Fair Representation a coalition of over 60 organizations
pursuing gender equity legislation at the city, county, and state levels.
Celebration of Women in Science at the Carnegie Science Center honoring
women in our region who are engaged in innovative and dynamic work in
the sciences.
